Michael Davidsen, Associate Director & Co-Founder

Michael Davidsen is an international project manager and consultant,
who has specialized in international investment promotion, preparation
of feasibility studies and business plans, as well as corporate
finance, including venture capital and private equity placements.
Prior to establishing BSBI, he was Senior Vice President at Stonehill
Associates, LLC, an international financial advisory firm specializing
in emerging markets, projects and transactions. At Stonehill he
worked on several large advisory transactions. Prior thereto,
Mr. Davidsen was with the United Nations (UNIDO) from 1988-1997,
where he was a senior staff member working on investment promotion,
enterprise restructuring and privatization. From 1995-97, Mr.
Davidsen managed UNIDO's office in Washington, D.C., a service
for which he received an honorable United Nations award. Prior
to his international career, he spent 3 years with the Danish
financial institution "the Industrialization Fund for Developing
Countries (IFU)." Mr. Davidsen has worked and lived in Denmark,
Austria, Africa (the Sudan) and since 1994 in Washington, D.C.,
USA, in addition to professional visits to the economies of Eastern
and Central Europe and many developing countries in East Asia
and Africa. Mr. Davidsen has been a speaker and lecturer on investment
promotion and international business development in many international
conferences and seminars.
Mr. Davidsen received his Bachelor's degree in Economics and
Master's in Economics from the University of Copenhagen. He also
holds diplomas in Development Banking from the Economic Development
Institute of the World Bank, as well as Management Training from
the United Nations.
